Responsibilities:
- Assist Engineers with mechanical job scope, Carry out various roles in production work, in-house and on-site
- Set up, operate, and maintain conventional lathe machines/drilling machine/Milling Machine. Perform simple troubleshooting of these machines as per company standard procedures, etc. To receive job piece, read drawing or draw from sample to machine, assembled and re-produce parts as required.
- Set up, operate, and maintain all measuring equipment, gauges, and fixtures for making accurate inspection checks
- Conduct in-process inspection and final checks on work
- Tidy up workplace and conduct regular area cleaning to maintain good hygiene standards and safe working environment
Job Qualifications:
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to work and communicate well with others.
- Proficiency with hand tools.
- Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
- Requirements NITEC in Precision Engineering / Mechanical or equivalent. Minimum 2 years of working experience in mechanical/electrical assembly.
- Knowledge of design, usage, repair and maintenance of conventional lathe machines and tooling.
- Understanding of Basic drawing and able to follow samples given will be helpful to have
- Adhere to good quality, housekeeping, and safety practices
